Oracle R12 Financials Functional Analyst

About the Job
We’re looking for an experienced Oracle R12 Functional Analyst with strong Financials expertise to join a busy Corporate Functions Technology team within a global financial services environment.
This role is hands-on and support-focused, working closely with finance and business users to support and improve Oracle E-Business Suite.
The role:
- Provide day-to-day functional support for Oracle EBS (v12).
- Resolve business issues and incidents raised via ServiceNow.
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions.
- Support enhancements and small change/project work.
- Produce clear functional documentation.
- Support finance systems and banking integrations connected to Oracle EBS.
Key skills & experience:
- Strong functional experience with Oracle EBS Financials.
- Proven experience across modules such as:
- GL, AP, AR, FA.
- Purchasing / iProcurement.
- Projects / OTL.
- Solid understanding of finance processes and accounting principles.
- 5+ years’ experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Analyst or Consultant.
- Comfortable working in a support environment with business users.
- Basic SQL knowledge and general Oracle EBS technical awareness.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice to have:
- Experience with tools such as More4Apps, GL Wand, Hubble.
- Exposure to change or improvement projects.
- Part-qualified accountant (AAT / ACCA / ACA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.
